Cancellation policy

The courses offered by ACADEMIA Webinars are aimed at entrepreneurs, meaning natural or legal persons or partnerships with legal personality which when entering into the legal transaction are acting in exercise of their trade, business or profession. If you are an entrepreneur, the following statements do not apply to you.

If a customer in his capacity as consumer orders an online seminar, he has a right to cancel in accordance with the statutory provisions. A consumer means every natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly are outside his trade, business or profession. The following is applicable to consumers:

You have the right to cancel this agreement within fourteen days without stating reasons. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day of concluding the contract. To exercise your right to cancel, you should inform us,

of your decision to cancel this agreement by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached sample cancellation form to do this, but this is not a requirement. To meet the cancellation period deadline it is sufficient to send your notification informing us that you are exercising your right to cancel before the end of the 14-day period.


Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel the agreement in accordance with the above provisions, we will refund all payments that we have received from you in connection with the individual cancelled booking without delay and not later than fourteen days after the day on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this agreement. In no event will you be charged fees in connection with this refund. The right to cancel expires as soon as the webinar to which the cancelled booking relates has been conducted.
